内容简介:

The Bird Saw Me is a stunning collection of ten stories. Notable works include  "Never Meant to Kill", " Valentine's Day Explosion", and "First to Know".
In the book The Bird Saw Me, A Yi drew materials from his days as a police officer, and wrote about crimes that originated in human instinct. Many of the stories take place in rural-urban fringe zones or small remote towns where people become outcast of both rural tradition and fast-forwarding city life. Intricate detective work is rarely the focus nor needed as the writer peels off layers of the plot, to explore how people may react or be driven to make irrational decisions in desperate situations.
